Mandarin Orange Chicken Salad Recipe


Take an opportunity from boring old salad and make this Mandarin Orange salad Recipe. The tangy dijon mustard and sweet mandarin oranges take this salad to subsequent level! With just 5 ingredients this makes an excellent nutritious lunch or dinner and may be made into a Whole30 compliant recipe.

It’s always great once you can make a meal that adults and youngsters love! This Mandarin Orange salad are going to be successful with with everyone because it's so fun and flavorful.

How To Make Orange salad

Step 1: Roast chicken then let cool, chop or shred chicken.

Step 2: Combine chopped chicken, chopped celery, mayo, mustard, salt and pepper. Stir until combine. Add mandarin oranges then gently stir.


Ingredients

Chicken

  • 2 Lbs Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts, (pounded to equal thickness)
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt/pepper

Chicken Salad

  • 4 Celery Stalks, (chopped)
  • 1/2 Cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 Tablespoons Stone Ground Dijon Mustard
  • Salt/Pepper to taste
  • 5 Cutie Mandarin Oranges, (peeled & segmented)

Instructions

Chicken

  1. Preheat oven to 450ºF
  2. Coat chicken breasts with olive oil, salt and pepper then transfer to a roasting dish.
  3. Roast for 25-30 minutes or until 165ºF internal temperature. (time will vary depending on thickness of chicken)
  4. Let cool then chop or shred chicken.

  2. Add mandarin oranges then gently stir.
